East horizon drop down list
There is a setting toward the bottom left of this window that says "On Eastern Horizon, Show..."
There are 6 possibilities:
Ascendant: This is the most common option. This will place the exact degree of the ascendant at the 9 o'clock position of the screen.
15 degrees of rising sign: This will place the middle of the rising sign at the 9 o'clock position of the screen.
0 degrees of rising sign: This will place the beginning of the rising sign at then 9 o'clock position of the screen.
Fortune (Exact Degree): The next 3 are most often used with fortune house numbering using the whole sign house system. This will place the exact degree of the lot of fortune at the 9 o'clock position of the screen.
Fortune (15 Degrees of Sign): This will place the middle of the sign that fortune happens to be in at the 9 o'clock position of the screen.
Fortune (0 Degrees of Sign: This will place the beginning of the sign that fortune happens to be in at the 9 o'clock position of the screen.
Select the orientation you want and click on View. Whatever you select here will remain the default orientation until you change it next time.
