Counting by sign or portion (lots list)
There as some lots that state something like "go from Jupiter to Cancer and an equal amount from the ascendant". The question is what degree to take for the sign of Cancer in this case. For lots stated in this manner, it might have been the case to count signs and not merely by portion (degree), so I have 2 options for this. The first option simply counts signs and ends up with a sign and it will be stated at 15 degrees of the sign in question. The second option takes the first degree of the sign and uses degrees in the usual way.
